2026 JAMB Registration Requirement

Ensure a smooth JAMB 2026 registration process by meeting the following requirements:

1. National Identification Number (NIN):

  • Obtain the compulsory 11-digit NIN from a registration center.
  • Requirements: Birth Certificate, Local Government of Origin Certificate.

2. JAMB Profile Code:

  • Generate a 10-digit JAMB profile code by dialing 550191NIN# or 660191NIN# on your phone.
  • Cost: ₦50.

3. Phone Number:

  • Provide an active mobile phone number for profile code creation and biodata.

4. Email Address:

  • Create a Google email address for JAMB profile access and admission acceptance on the JAMB portal.

5. O-level/A-level Result:

  • Use your senior secondary school leaving certificate (WAEC, NECO) for O’level.
  • Register with awaiting results if still in senior secondary school.
  • Upload your result on the JAMB portal when available.
  • A-level results are required for direct entry applicants.

6. JAMB E-pin:

  • Purchase the JAMB ePIN for registration.
  • Breakdown: JAMB ePin = ₦4,500, Reading Text = ₦500, CBT Registration Fee = ₦700.

7. Biodata:

  • Fill out the JAMB biodata form with personal information.
  • The form contains:
    • Personal Information: First Name, Last Name, Middle Name, Gender/Sex, Date of Birth.
    • Origin Details: State of Origin, Local Government of Origin, Religion, Marital Status.
    • Contact Information: Phone Number, Email Address, Home Address, Maiden Name (Mother’s Surname).
    • Academic Choices: Choice of Institution & Course, Preferred State for Exam.
    • Additional Details: JAMB Syllabus.
  • A brief explanation of your personal details.

  2. Receive your JAMB profile code.
  3. Purchase a JAMB ePIN using your profile code.
  4. Visit a JAMB CBT center.
  5. Complete the biodata form.
